Hi, I'm Elise!
I am a birth and postpartum doula and a Birth Boot Camp certified Childbirth Educator.
I came to birth work in an unexpected way. During a time when I was searching for a purpose and a passion, I found myself drawn to learning more about women’s bodies, pregnancy, and childbirth. The more I learned, the more of a pull I felt to it all.
After taking a leap and attending a birth doula training, everything seemed to click right into place. Ever since, I only become more and more sure that this is what I’m supposed to do.
Now, I work as a birth doula and childbirth educator, helping women feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout pregnancy and birth. Every woman deserves to understand her options and feel confident in the choices she makes for her body and her baby, and I am so happy to be have the opportunity to play a part in that!
Some fun facts about me:
-I love to travel! Some of my favorite places include Disney, California, Oregon, and national parks
-I did an internship at Walt Disney World in 2022
-I have two cats named Dolly and Buffy
-I love to eat and my favorite food is Thai food
My Philosophy
Women are amazing. Birth is amazing! I believe that women's bodies were incredibly designed to give birth and that every single woman deserves to know the power they have over their birth experience.
In our society, we need to bring back trust and respect in women's bodies and ability to give birth. It's not about where or how you give birth, it's about whether or not YOU had the knowledge, resources, and support to come to that decision for yourself.
As a doula and childbirth educator, this is my main purpose!
